Pork Tenderloin with Apple Cider Jam

Valentines Day is coming up and we found a delicious, three-ingredient recipe from our customer and wine-foodie Stephanie Bezner that she paired with our Rosé of Cabernet Franc. Yes, pork and rosé can go together! Our rosé is full-bodied and made for food. Someone recently described it as a “Chardonnay drinkers Rosé”.

Pork Tenderloin with Apple Cider Jam

  • 1 pork tenderloin, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1/3 cup Trader Joe’s Apple Cider Jam
  • 2 tablespoons butterHeat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.  Melt butter.  Arrange pork tenderloin in single layer to sear.  Cook, without disturbing, for 5 minutes.  Flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, depending upon desired cooking temperature (I go for 3 minutes because I like medium pork).  Add jam to the skillet and stir to glaze pork.  Arrange pork on a plate and top with remaining jam and jus from skillet.
