Majuscule focuses on very small production wines crafted from two high-elevation vineyards on Mount Veeder. Our current production is about 600 cases per year. In 2009 we made our first two barrels of wine from Lisa Chu’s Wildcat Vineyard which is planted on steep slopes 2,000 feet above the western side of the Napa Valley. Lisa planted the vineyard in the late 1990s. It zig-zags up the mountain and has several microclimates. It’s challenging to farm, but the extra effort yields incredible results in the bottle with each wine reflecting the unique characteristics of Mount Veeder. Over the past three years, we have been awarded several favorable reviews from Wine Enthusiast with scores of 96, 95, 94, 93 and 91 points.
